About this series
This is where my world first broke apart.
The First Shattering: When My World Split Open is the opening chapter of Before I Let Go: The Girl Who Kept Moving. Through symbolic silhouettes and abstract neurographic forms, this series follows the quiet moments that forever changed the course of my childhood.
These are not scenes of dramatic explosions. They are the moments that often go unseen. A child believing she is safe. A family dividing without warning. A mask carefully crafted to survive. The loneliness of feeling different. The silent departures that shaped the woman I would become.
Each artwork captures a single memory. Together, they tell the story of how a child slowly learned to disappear… and why she never stopped searching for her way back.
The deepest fractures are often the ones no one else can see. This is where my story begins.

THE FIRST FRACTURE
Every piece captures a moment when innocence gave way to survival, revealing how identity is shaped long before we have words for our pain.
A CHILD'S WORLD
The most life-changing moments are often the quietest. These stories explore the invisible experiences that transformed how I saw myself and the world around me.
THE JOURNEY BEGINS
Before healing, there was breaking. Before becoming, there was surviving. This chapter is the beginning of finding my way back to myself.
