Meet Rob Leigh
This is where my story became art.
This is me
The origin
of the artist.
RobLeigh was not created in ease. She was born in a moment when language failed me. There was a kind of pain living in my body that words could not hold, because some hurt does not translate cleanly into sentences. It sits deeper than speech.
And on one afternoon, in a quiet art room, I was introduced to something I had never seen before. A practice. A process. A release. Neurographic art.
With every stroke of the marker, my body began to slow. My breath softened. My mind loosened its grip. I found a way to speak without words.
But RobLeigh is not just a response to pain. She is also a continuation of love. The name carries legacy. My father, Robert Lee Hendrix Sr., was the first to place a paintbrush in my hand.
Before I understood technique, he taught me truth. Draw what you see. Express how you feel. He did not raise me to perform. He raised me to think. To feel. To build. To move. To take up space.
RobLeigh is the version of me that refuses to shrink. The part of me that creates when I cannot speak. The part that turns chaos into form. It is choosing movement when everything inside feels stuck.
So every time the pen touches the page, it is not just art. It is rhythm. It is memory. It is regulation. It is release. It is my father’s teaching moving through my hands. It is my voice finding its way back to me.
I celebrate her, for she is who helped me survive.

My promise
I create with intention.
I create with love.
I create for you.
This is more than art. It’s a conversation, a mirror, and a safe space. I invite you in to feel, reflect, and remember who you are.
What I'm focused on now
Truth
I believe in the power of honesty, on the canvas and in life.
Healing
I create to process, to heal, and to help others feel less alone.
Creativity
Art is how I make sense of the world and turn pain into purpose.
Connection
My hope is that my work reaches you and reminds you of you.
Hope
No matter what we carry, there is light on the other side.
