About this series
Some love does not leave when someone does.
The Love That Raised Me is a collection of visual stories honoring my father and the love that shaped who I became. These pieces hold the memories I return to now: the safety of his presence, the lessons he gave me, the way he believed in me, and the ordinary moments I never knew I would one day miss so deeply.
This series is both grief and gratitude. It is my way of remembering the man who raised me while discovering that death could take his presence, but it could never take what his love planted inside of me.
I thought losing you meant losing your love. I’m learning that your love is one of the things you left behind.

A FATHER’S LOVE
Before I understood the world, his love taught me what it meant to feel safe, protected, seen, and deeply loved.
THE MOMENTS I MISS
It is often the ordinary moments I miss the most. The conversations, the laughter, the hugs, and the quiet ways he made life feel safe.
LOVE REMAINS
Grief taught me that love does not end when someone dies. It changes form, becoming memory, guidance, strength, and something I carry with me everywhere I go.
